I've been playing Terraria these days, and I got quite addicted :) So I decided to do some fake "concept art" for the game, based on the sprites. I already did the armors and defense items, now I'll work on the monsters!

I decided to revive my blog! :D (Also I decided to start posting in English)
I have been posting a lot of fake in-game screenshots that I've been doing in the TigSource Forums for personal study and for the fun of it. So I decided to post them here too. Until now, 6 mockups and game ideas were done, here they are:

PS. The images are very small, you might want to click on them to increase their size.

#1 PROPAGANDA
A game about turning every citizen red and avoiding getting caught by the Greens while doing that.

#2 CAVE DEFENSE
A game about digging a cave while protecting your people against hordes of monsters.

#3 NO RETREAT
A game that you control an awesome war tank in a battlefield, well... not exactly the tank but its weapon system (only 3 buttons: homing missiles, cannon and machine gun) and the tank moves aways to the right in Canabalt style in a procedural battlefield. You need to choose carefully when to shoot and what to shoot - your ammo is limited.
Different enemies are taken down by different weapons, or even different weapon combinations and timing.

#4 CASTAWAY
A game about surviving in an island, finding food, water, building a camp, stuff like that. Platform view (as aways) with a map to travel to far places and to see important landmarks.

#5 STEALTH
A 2 player game, one player builds and controls a fortress and the other player has to sabotage it. Bleh.. Not very inspired today.

#6 ALONE
It's a point and click platformer/adventure game. The protagonist is a medic in a spaceship called "The Pioneer" that wakes up somewhere in the space with the whole crew dead. Most of them died in the cryo-chambers due to energy failures.
Paranoid, in a spaceship light-years from earth and completely alone, his priority now is survival.
Inspired by [url=http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/7days/]7 Days A Skeptic[/url] and Alien. (But this game would not contain any evil aliens assassins)

Opa, parece que tem bastante gente que não conseguiu jogar o Six Feet Over por causa do DirectX, então eu estou postando um link novo de um instalador bem mais simples pra ele, é só executar.
Mas para evitar esses problemas no futuro, um instalador do Six Feet Over já está a caminho.

Aeeee terminamos um jogo! Eu e a Amora finalmente terminamos o Six Feet Over, um shoot'em up de ZUMBIS!
A idéia é simples: mate o máximo de zumbis que conseguir para entrar no hi-score. Infelizmente ainda não dá para postar online, mas fique à vontade para comentar aqui.

O jogo é gratuito com a licença creative commons. Baixe ele AQUI! Para jogar você precisa de Windows XP ou superior, e precisa do DirectX 9 instalado!

Perdi o sono hoje e empolguei a fazer uma ilustração do mesmo projeto do ultimo post: Rescue. Esta é uma cena mostrando o médico com mais detalhes.

O jogo trata do conflito psicológico de um médico que se encontra totalmente sozinho em uma nave alienígena abandonada. Para sobreviver ele conta com a ajuda do seu piloto – que está isolado na nave humana, agora quebrada e vagando no espaço. O piloto só tem uma maneira de ajudar o médico: pelo rádio, uma maneira fria e distante para quem está em uma situação de pressão psicológica tão grande, mas esta ajuda terá que servir se os dois quiserem sobreviver.

Voltando as origens vai um concept dos vultos do mundo de Nasgoth. Segue a descrição do livro:

Após ficar morto durante muito tempo, um espectral pode tornar um vulto, um fantasma que ainda possui a aparência de quando o ser ainda era vivo, porém de forma idealizada e nua. Vultos são criaturas melancólicas e angustiadas, não são necessariamente malignos mas levam a dor e a morte para onde quer que andem. Após um ou dois meses ele pode se tornar um Espectro.
